Wii Gets a Grip on Resident Evil 5 and Street Fighter 4!

Do you think you’re getting jipped by Capcom?  Are you about to Hadoken your friend’s face out of pure, unadulterated, fanboy hate? Has the fact that Resident Evil 5 won’t be coming to the Wii got you ready to unleash an incurable virus on some rural town? Well now you can save your friendship, and stop the horrors of mass genocide from crippling the world,  ’cause Resident Evil 5 and Street Figther 4 will be coming to the Wii!

…As themed controllers. Did I get you hyped? 😀 I think so! Oh man, I bet you were about to freak out… If only I were there to save a snapshot of your anger… So, unsatisfying their fan base wasn’t enough, eh? They had to rub it into Wii owners’ faces that they won’t be playing these hallmark titles, eh?! Well jokes on them; I’ll be using these to play Mortal Kombat: Armageddon! Ha! Take that Capc… Oh wait, they still win… dang it!

Capcom is teaming up with Mad Catz to stamp their trademarked Resident Evil 5 and Street Fighter 4 mascots onto the remotes we so swiftly swing. Though they haven’t released which characters they’ll be emblazoning into sweaty Wii owners’ palms, several characters are pretty much shoe-ins. Ken and Ryu? Of course. A few blood thirsty zombies? That’s a “no brainer”. An enraged Blanka? Ha, yeah right!… No, he probably has a good chance too. Anyways, if you’re a hardcore fan, you might want to get these; they may just fill the void the actual games should… but probably not.

  1. AAARRRRRGGGGGHHH! I’m so angry!

I’m kidding. I am pretty excited for RE5 to get released though. I’ll probably get it for the PS3.

You know, it really doesn’t make sense to have RE5 themed controllers for a system that doesn’t have the game. It ends up being more of a punch in the gut for those Wii owners who want the game. Sad really.
