Fatal Frame 4’s Fans’ Favorite Fashions

Fatal Frame 4 has been out in Japan for about a week and it appears that Nintendo not only published this game but also got the developers to sneak in a few memorable outfits before releasing the game. Nintendo themed costumes were made for this exclusive Wii game in case you want to swap out your camera wielding counterpart’s garb for something a little less… dingy. Samus Aran’s Zero Suit and Luigi’s patented green and blue gear are confirmed to be in-game options. It’s unclear if there are any other Nintendo branded outfits available but I wouldn’t doubt if we’ll be seeing a few others.

I find it rather clever that they put Luigi’s costume in a game about ghosts when he starred in the GameCube launch title, Luigi’s Mansion. It seems like Luigi has been going down a “dark” path in the last few games he’s been involved in. His Final Smash in Super Smash Brothers Brawl involves a sphere of chaotic elements being dealt to those within it and became an antagonist in Super Paper Mario for nearly the entire game as well. Now that remnants of his image have popped up in a horror based game, who knows where he’ll end up next.
