Nintendo Ditches Leipzig Games Convention ’08

A bit of sour news today as Nintendo officially announced they won’t be attending the 2008 Leipzig Games Convention this year. Though they really didn’t give an actual reason as to why they would be a no show, they did say their products received more welcome in smaller events and they would continue to hold these humble shows through the rest of the year.

Saying they don’t want to attend a huge gaming convention seems a bit fishy to me as the Big N is still going to hit E3 this year. Maybe they just won’t have anything ready to debute in time for the show. Whatever their reason is, Nintendo is being as secretive as ever with this one.

  4. I hope the secret is StarFox for the Wii or some lesser used franchise. As good as the games may be I’ve had enough Mario and Zelda.
