Crisis Strikes on the Disaster Front

Some ominous news seeped into the Net today as word of Disaster: Day of Crisis’  release date was quietly obscured. It was scheduled to hit store shelves in July over in Japan but now, a Nintendo press release has the game marked as “To Be Announced”. In other words, it was delayed until further notice.

If anyone recalls, Project H.A.M.M.E.R. was put down in the same, unprecedented way. News slowly stopped coming, screenshots were no longer made, and then finally, it was canned when they thought the masses were no longer interested. Hopefully, this is not the case for Disaster.

This could be due to the fact that the previous release date was before E3. Maybe they just pushed it back so they could highlight it during the show and get the consumers a bit more excited than they already are. I truly hope it isn’t canceled as many Wii owners have been anxiously waiting for it since it was announced in September of 2006.
