RUMOR: Sweet Sales at Circut City

Word has been floating around the Net recently that Circuit City is going to have on hell of a sale next week and Suda 51 is taking one major hit to their pocket books. No More Heroes is said to be getting its price slashed to $19.99 after mediocre sales worldwide. From giving away free rolls of toilet paper with a purchase of their game in Japan to dropping their title’s price to bargain bin status after only a half a year on store shelves, Suda 51 is really trying to capture the consumers’ eye.

Also on the chopping block is said to be several other high profile gems. Super Mario Galaxy, Lego Star Wars, Mario & Sonic at the Olympics, Tiger Woods PGA Tour 08, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, and Mario Kart Wii will each be receiving a buy-one-get-one for half off tag slapped on their glossy covers. If you’ve been anxiously waiting for one of these games to gain sale status, then next week just might be your chance to nab a great deal!

On a side note, am I the only one who notices that retailers with red logos seem to have more Nintendo deals? EB Games & Gamestop, Target, and Circuit City always seem to have the most. Wal-Mart and Best Buy don’t usually get any wallet busters… maybe it’s just coincidence…
