Two Major Titles Get Their Japanese Release Dates Confirmed

Finally, a bit of news on the Disaster front. It seems as if the latest issue of Famitsu held within its pages Disaster: Day of Crisis’ release date along with Mario Superstar Baseball’s. The next ‘inning’ in the Mario baseball franchise will hit Japanese consumers June 19 for 5,800 yen (about $57 US) and Disaster will strike July 3 for 6800 yen (about $67 US). $67 is an unusual amount for a game here in the states, could that mean it’s shipping with a peripheral or bonus item like Wii Play did? Though those dates hold no relevance to anyone outside of Japan, it at least gives us a rough estimate of when we should be seeing those games. Plus, those concerned about Disaster going the way of Project H.A.M.M.E.R. can breathe a sigh of relief.
