Finally, after months of waiting, WiiWare is here! Exclusive Wii content is just a click away folks as a new section has been added to your Shop Channel. With six games available at launch and dozens of others eagerly awaiting their time in the spotlight, Nintendo’s new downloadable content feature is off to a great start. There were a few games, however, that many assumed would be launch titles. Gyrostar, World of Goo, Toki Tori, and Dr. Mario, to name a few. It’s ok though – with the lineup as it is, we can wait.

Defend Your Castle- XGen Studios – 1 to 4 Players – 500 Points
Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles: My Life As A King- Square Enix -  1 Player – 1,500 Points
Lost Winds – Frontier – 1 to 2 Players - 1,000 Points
Pop - Nnooo – 1 to 4 Players – 700 Points
TV Show King- Gameloft – 1 to 4 Players – 1,000 Points
V.I.P. Casino: Blackjack – High Voltage Software – 1 to 4 Players – 700 Points

Also worth noting is a new increment in Wii software pricing. Pop’s and V.I.P. Casino’s tag is set to 700 points; just shy of the usual 800. Maybe we’ll see games for under 500 later down the road.
